Why Should I Sign Up for This Event?

MUN is a simulation of the United Nations that allows students to fully immerse themselves in the world of international relations. For many, this is the first true experience of the importance or power of politics, and creates career paths or university aspirations. Aside from the prospects of MUN, the confidence gained from attending MUN, speaking in public, and working with other ‘countries’ to come up with solutions teaches political and global awareness, compromise, and provides a ‘behind the scenes’ insight into the world of Global Politics, that for many seems untouchable.
