Training Materials

ThamesMUN will be using a simplified version of LIMUN Rules of Procedure, which will be updated soon. The Rules of Procedure explain the formal order and progression of debate, as well as rules of address. However, this will be covered on the day of the conference, and students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the conference so as to familiarise themselves and gain confidence in the new setting.

Aside from MUN, the conference also fosters transferable skills such as public speaking, confidence, and debate. While there is some training for this, it is best to learn in practice, hence the importance of the immersive committee session.
