About KCLUNA

The KCL United Nations Association is founded on the principles of community, diplomacy and the plurality of ideas, and is a vehicle for those interested in the United Nations, diplomacy and international affairs.

The KCL United Nations Association has grown to become one of the UK’s leading Model UN debate societies and offers a vehicle for its members to develop skills in negotiation, public speaking and crisis management. Attending Model UN conferences across the UK and further afield, our mission is to empower our members to become confident and knowledgeable leaders and give opportunities for these new skills to be exercised in a variety of settings.

Now organising two of our own conferences - ULMUN for beginner and less-experienced university students, and ThamesMUN for underprivileged state school students across London - you will have the opportunity to play a leading role in our activities and give back to the local community .

Alongside our weekly training sessions, we organise academic and social events. From embassy visits and career events to day trips and nights out, we strive to build a community in which everyone feels welcome and has the opportunity to find something that suits them.
