Committee Topic: Increase in Human Trafficking As A Result of the COVID-19 Pandemic

UNHRC is a committee that is very dear to our hearts and we hope that this passion will carry over to you as well. It is a committee that acts upon our sense of morality and our emotions leaving no participant apathetic or unmoved. You will learn much more than the technical research of the topic or new rhetorical skills. This will teach you about the cruel and unfair reality that an alarming number of people face every day, the choices, or more appropriately lack, that they have available and most importantly the empathy and compassion needed to listen, come forward with solutions and elevate this debate. Although our discussions will not have a palpable or positive impact on the world, I hope it does impact you.
