ULMUN Harassment, Bullying and Sexual Misconduct Policy

University of London Model United Nations is committed to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all those participating in its events and activities. As part of this commitment and in line with their obligations as members of the Committee of the KCL United Nations Association, all members of the Secretariat shall undergo yearly training on harassment, bullying and sexual misconduct under the KCL Student Union’s ‘Consent Matters: Boundaries, Respect and Positive Intervention’ course. This course provides training on consent, relationships, how to conduct positive intervention and where to access useful resources to support complainants. This training aims to best prepare members of the Secretariat to handle complaints and to provide appropriate assistance under this policy. This policy should serve as a point of reference for the Secretariat of ULMUN and those participating in its events and activities. This policy does not supersede the regulations and procedures of King’s College London, and ULMUN undertakes to act in accordance with these regulations and procedures at all times. Any actions taken in the name of ULMUN must therefore be in accordance with these regulations and procedures. If you have any questions about this policy or would like more information about how ULMUN can provide you with guidance and support, you are encouraged to contact the Secretary- General or any other member of the Secretariat.
