ULMUN Participation Agreement

Conference

Delegates undertake to:

1.    Attend ULMUN 2020 and arrive punctually to each committee session.

2.    Act in accordance with all Conference Policies as indicated by the Secretariat or published on the KCL United Nations Association website.

3.    Act in accordance with all the latest guidelines and advice on social distancing and other protective measures as indicated by the Secretariat and members of staff at King’s College London. 

Payment

(Head) Delegates undertake to:

1.    Pay all conference fees in advance of the stated deadline set by the Secretariat.

2.    Inform the USG Finance as soon as possible if they expect they will be unable to meet the payment deadline or if unable to pay via bank transfer. Delegates that request a payment deadline extension or cash payment on the day of the conference will be liable for payment regardless of their participation in the conference. 

Cancellations

(Head) Delegates undertake to:

1.    Inform the USG Applications as soon as possible if they wish to cancel any place at ULMUN 2020.

2.    Refunds will only be granted if delegates inform the USG Finance about the cancellation one week prior to the day of the conference. 

COVID-19

The Secretariat is committed to operating ULMUN 2020 as an in-person conference. Should circumstances arise where it will no longer be possible for ULMUN 2020 to take place in-person, the conference will be held online. The Secretariat will make every effort to take this decision at the earliest reasonable opportunity, and will undertake to deliver a high-quality ULMUN experience.

Please note that if ULMUN 2020 is held online, all participation fees will be charged as normal and the Secretariat will not be able to offer a refund policy to any delegates.

PLEASE NOTE: By having your application to participate at ULMUN 2020 accepted, you agree to abide by and act in accordance with this agreement. Failure to do so may prevent your participation at ULMUN 2020.
